Easy Trick Shots

To make a cut shot, you may place a ball one foot from a corner pocket and then put the ball near the rail to form a right angle. When one applies a cut shot after doing this, they are likely to pocket the cue ball. The cut shot technique is simple and effective provided that you aim at the rail instead of a cue ball- this shot is effective when a person does the following:

• Strike the ball off-center when standing close to the right angle formed by the cue ball and rail- the ball will rotate, repress the rail and bounce back at an angle.
• The cue ball will hit the rail thereafter; it will drop inside a selected corner pocket.

To polish your skills, you should regularly practice and one should also freeze the cue ball to the rail. A much simpler shot is the ‘double shot’, which requires a person to place the ball near a bottom rail and another near the central diamond. The main aim is to pocket the cue ball in a corner pocket and immediately pull it out- the ball will bounce atop the rail, and then land in another corner pocket. It is easy to make a double shot as long as one keeps the following in mind:

• Aim between two diamonds and then strike the ball from the right hand side-you should apply ample force in order to push the cue ball towards the rails.
• Place the cue ball near a corner pocket of your choice after it hits the rail

The ‘two rails reverse shot’ requires a person to place the cue ball near a rail- the cue ball’s edge should touch an edge of a side pockets. Put the ball on the centerline so that it guides one on where you should formulate a straight line that touches both the object ball and cue ball. One should strike the ball so that it hits two rails prior to entering a second pocket. When striking, you should follow the billiards strategy of  hitting the ball below center in order to make it spin backwards then forward towards the corner pocket selected.
